I am José Luis, partner of TGS Sarrio & Asociados (Peru) and TGS C&C Canessa (Chile), both multiservice audit firms and members of TGS. I am a Chartered Auditor, Chartered Public Accountant and Chartered Economist, with a master’s degree in sales and marketing management.
I lead the Advisory practice in both countries and the backoffice team of Peru: finance, quality control accounting, marketing, business development, IT and culture & talent. I am also the international liaison with partners of other TGS member firms with global clients, prospects and alliances. I am also part of the TGS board of directors and TGS Regional Leader for South and Central America.
In Peru, I am also a director in different organizations such as Procapitales (association of capital market promotion companies), IPAI (peruvian institute of independent auditors), Boxea Callao (NGO dedicated to get vulnerable children and young people off the streets through sports) and Sonqo (NGO dedicated to shelter vulnerable kids against extreme low temperatures in the highlands).
My objectives as TGS regional leader
Help the firms grow profit through international work and strategic path.
I believe I have a lot to contribute to the network with the experience I have gained in the Firm as a member of other global audit networks with a longer track records; I am clear about what works and does not work for networks and especially for markets such as Latin America.
We have created strong support areas over the years that we have put for use for the Region in order to cut corners for the firms. In the almost 45 years that the Peruvian Firm has been in existence, we have tried everything in marketing, sales, business development, quality control, IT and others. We have made mistakes and learned what works best.
